Wow - absolutely minty fresh true vintage late 50's/early 60's era overcoat by Hickey Freeman. Mega high quality from this brand as you'd expect, especially from this era - this is a fully canvassed overcoat in solid black, it has waaaaay softer wool than I'm accustomed to seeing on coats from this era, with a diagonal flannel grain. There's no tag indication, but I'm not 100% convinced that it doesn't have at least some percentage of cashmere blended into it considering the feel and the brand's history of making high end stuff. It has a three button front that's hidden under a flap cover of the overlapping breast flap, also a pair of flap front waist pockets, and also more narrow/smaller width peak lapels, but still for sure little pointed peak designs and not notch style. The sleeves have two buttons apiece with no gauntlets or straps, and again the interior is not only fully lined but canvassed as well, complete with nice original labels. Lastly it has a single vent in the rear.
