【Item Description】

This is a listing for a Warwick Thumb BO 5-string Pro in nirvana black.

I've used it as a backup bass for a long time, and both the neck and body look fantastic.

Please read the following description carefully before making a purchase, as there have been modifications to the bass.

This instrument is a Warwick Thumb 5-string Pro series bolt-on model. Based on the serial number, it was made in Korea in 2017, but it features German-made original parts.

I am the second owner, and when I acquired it, it had EMG pickups installed. Consequently, the pickup cavities are slightly larger than MEC pickups (see photo 9). It has two volume and one tone controls.

There are no original MEC pickups included.

In addition to the pickup change, I've also replaced the Schaller strap locks (see photo 5). During my use, the previous strap locks started to loosen, so I had them repaired and replaced. I'll include an Ernie Ball strap with the typical seatbelt style (see photo 7).

Other than that, I believe all other parts are original.

Due to the lock pin replacement, the neck and other adjustments have been made, so I believe it's in good condition. The frets are still about 80-90% intact.

Given the modifications and its player's condition, I'm looking for buyers who understand these aspects.

It comes with a strap and the original soft case. Regarding the soft case, one of the zipper sliders is missing, and there are signs of use, so please consider it more as a bonus for preventing shipping accidents.
