This is my “War Chief” model, the knife is an old 75-100 years old roughly. The sheath is buffalo hide with a rawhide inner sheath to stiffen it. It’s aged well and given a used and worn look that makes it look like it’s been worn for years. The decorations are worthy of a Chief. There’s a metal concho on the front (these were common in Apacheria and after 1880 the Navajo made them as well) brass and antique nickel tacks, brass cones with deer hair, multitudes of vintage glass Czech beads, tons of brass beads, bone beads, copper wire weapped fringe, and a porcupine claw tied to the hand twisted fringe.
