Arcadia LED tube T5 Marine Blue 18W (1047mm) aquarium lighting sea water

Arcadia LED tube T5 Marine Blue 18W (1047mm) aquarium lighting sea water

  • T5 LED tube - 18W (1047mm 16mm)
  • Makes corals glow, the moonlight effect is ideal for viewing at night
  • Uses three different types of blue light
  • Traditional T5 socket allows you to switch directly from fluorescent tubes to LED
  • Consumes 1/3 power compared to a normal fluorescent tube - with twice the light intensity

The Marine Blue Actinic LED tube with 420 nm mimics the moonlight in the sea and brings out the natural fluorescence of corals. In contrast to many competing products, the Marine Blue Actinic is designed for 420 nm - the optimal wavelength for photosynthesis in the sea.

The range of Arcadia Marine Blue Actinic LED tubes has been designed to reproduce the specific Spektrum (400 - 480nm) necessary to absorb blue chlorophyll for the development of zooxanthellae symbiosis. This concentration of light energy in the so-called actinic Spektrum , peaking at 420nm, is essential for the survival and health of corals and invertebrates in marine aquariums.

Another important element of the Arcadia Marine Blue Actinic LED tube is its UV output, which causes corals, invertebrates and exotic marine fish to fluoresce very attractively. When used at night with no other lighting, it creates the impression of a dark night lit only by moonlight, where the vivid colors of corals and invertebrates fluoresce brilliantly.

Next generation LED

Arcadia manages to make the switch from ordinary fluorescent tubes to LED technology perfectly easier. Thanks to the commercially available T5 connections, which are also used for LED tubes, you can easily switch to the variety of LED products when changing tubes.
The rotatable lamp holder makes it possible to optimally align the light beams.

Despite twice the light intensity, the LED tube only uses 1/3 of the power that standard fluorescent tubes of the respective size use.
If there is no guarantee or warranty for normal lamps, Arcadia gives you a two-year guarantee for LED tubes, which means there is a very low risk in the event of a failure. The average lifespan is approx. 50000 hours.
