General Use

These 100% natural dried grapefruit slices are ideal for adding to hit drinks, garnishing gin, cocktails, cakes or other food related garnishes, crafting into scented wreaths and much more. As with the grapefruit peel, dried slices can be used for the same purposes. However, whole dried grapefruit slices tend to be used where a decorative effect is required.

Increasingly, dried grapefruit, orange, or lemon slices are being used by bars, pubs, hotels and restaurants to decorate drinks. They have a number of advantages over fresh slices, including longevity, convenience and aesthetics; depending on the drink, they can look even more appealing than fresh slices, giving the beverage a ‘rustic’ look.

Dehydrating grapefruit slices further intensifies the citrus flavour too. In the right drink, this powerful flavour can work beautifully, adding to the overall taste and look.
