Old copy of Madam Butterfly, “A Japanese Tragedy” based on the book by John Long and the drama by David Belasco. This also includes Italian Libretto by L. Illica and G. Giacosa, music by Puccini- although this book does not include music. Unsure of exact publication date as it’s not listed, however, latest copyright date listed is 1906.

This book is in poor condition as shown. The cover is long missing and the title page shows yellowing and discoloration from age and storage. Pages are bent and even torn as shown, and this book was certainly used and enjoyed with some spots and ink messes on some pages. It is still held in its staple binding and is perfectly readable.

Some vintage smell, of course, but shipped in careful packaging from a smoke free home. Thanks for looking!
