HTF Vintage L & M Royal Halsey Fine Porcelain Teapot Asian Style Design READ.  No chips, cracks or other damage.  There are a couple of glaze pops and an inclusion in the glaze - a dark spot - see the last 2 photos.  Lipper & Mann (L & M) starting importing fine quality porcelain from Japan in 1949 and then the company became Lipper International in 1963 so since the teapot says L & M it would be from the earlier period.  Company headquarters were in New York City.  Their imported pottery was sold to interior designers, department stores and small shops.  It was hard to track down much information about the teapot because I could only find Royal Halsey tea cups online so the item must be rather rare.  There is a design of cherry blossoms on both the front and back of the teapot as well as the lid.  There is also some gold trim.  The whole thing is in very nice vintage condition - I usually only find old teapots with chips when hunting estates sales and garage sales so was very pleased to find such a nice one.
