vintage USA 1973 Wilton model C-0  3.5" vise schiller park era swivel base 

VERY RARE MODEL.  This is a 1973 Schiller Park WILTON BULLET VISE C-0 with 3.5 inch jaws.  

AMZAINGLY CLEAN ORIGINAL JAWS!!!

It is in beautiful condition with only very light wear.  There are no breaks, cracks, or repairs. Works perfectly.  SUPER CLEAN EXAMPLE!!  Jaws close tight and square. Handle turns with one finger.  REALLY NICE example! The earlier C-0 is a rare model and a great mid size for most general shop applications. Pipe jaws are like new with no wear!!

Nice refin in Rustoleum gloss gray.

Handle is straight.  Tiny chip in the anvil.

1-73 date stamp on the key. Manufactured in Jan.,1973.

The slide is very clean the whole length.

Original lock downs are in good shape.

3 of the 4 jaw screws are phillips...one is a slot head but correct threads.  (Shown in pics). These screws are in good condition and are free if you want to remove/change jaws.

The 2 allen-head worm screws that hold the pipe jaws in place are both clean and working with good threads.  They turn out for removal with no problem.

Base is the two piece type and the interior ring is in good condition. No cracks.

This vice is a joy to work on.

Overall..... a remarkably clean good-working example. This one has alot of talent and will serve you the rest of your life.
