Really neat, and fun, antique 1890s Palmer Cox’s Brownies majolica tobacco jar or container. It’s in gently used condition. Measures 3” inches tall the base measures 2” 1/4 by 2” 1/2 inches. Width is 3” inches.

There’s about 3 chips to the glaze as shown in the photos. The biggest one is on the top front of the lid. Also on the bottom edges and on the left side all shown in the photos. No cracks or repairs.

There’s a German bisque factory mark on the bottom. Also there’s some wear aging, a brown stain on the bottom of the majolica. The inside is clean but there’s some dark age stains inside of it.
