XTX40 Second Stage
The XTX40 second stage comes with all the features of highly popular ApeksXTX50 Second Stage with the diver adjustable breathing resistance control.

Apeks XTX40 Second Stage is highly recommendedprimary or backup regulator with pneumatically balanced second stage andventuri control.

XTX40’s second stage can be converted from aright-handed hose configuration, as supplied, to a left-handed one. Thisfeature is known as the Reversible Venturi System. Changing the regulator to aleft-handed configuration is quick and simple and can be performed by any ApeksAuthorised Service Technician.

The XTX40 Second Stage incorporates the feature ofDiver Changeable Exhausts system. This system allows the diver to change from asmall exhaust tee to a large one. This gives the user a choice of the widerexhaust tee for minimal bubble interference, essential for underwaterphotography, or the narrow exhaust tee for a smaller compact and comfortableset-up.

Included inthe Mission 3 triple console are the pressure gauge, analogue depth gauge andcompass. It is also possible to replace the depth gauge in this console withthe Puck computer at a later date.

The most interesting aspect of this layout is the inclined position of thecompass, which allows the two instruments (compass direction and air supply) tobe displayed simultaneously.
The manometer is suitable for a pressure of 300 bar and is integratedin a shockproof plastic case.
