Here we have for sale Rolling Stones - Beggars Banquet released in December 1968 on the iconic red unboxed Decca FFRR  "Ear" label.

On this release the label design has, inverted above the cat.#, the matrix number with no brackets.

The GEMA caption has no full stops in between the characters.

Side indication on the labels on the right hand side of the spindle hole.

No tax code on labels.

Matrix 4A/2A are the lowest known for this UK release.

The vinyl has been Degritter cleaned and the vinyl has come up spotlessly clean, black and glossy with sone fine hairlines and faint scuffs visible on both sides. No feelable damage and nothing that affects playback. The labels are clean with some spindle trails visible - see photos.I have graded VG+

The sound quality is outstanding as these old mono pressings often are. Clean, warm and with plenty of power and detail. The noise floor is amazingly quiet for the age with only very occasional noise in parts but nothing that spoils the enjoyment. No playback issues, no jumping or sticking.

The laminate gatefold sleeve is in great shape with no writing, tape or stains. Slight ringwear and laminate peel to the spine plus light corner and open edge rubbing but really quite good overall.

The original poly lined inner sleeve is present, however we have popped the record into a brand new poly lined inner sleeve to keep it pristine after cleaning - you will receive both.

Overall a lovely copy for a collector or simply to play and enjoy, fully cleaned and playtested, ready to pop straight onto the turntable.
