Offered For Sale is a Very Rare 1885 "American Bastile" - by John Marshall - A History of Illegal Arrests During the Civil War, along with the trial and execution of Mary Surratt, as part of the assassination of Lincoln - illustrated with steel engravings - wear to the boards, and the the front hinge is a little loose - the title page and copyright page are detached, but present - the remainder of the binding is solidly intact - the pages have some toning, but are clean and unmarked - no writing inside other than owners name and his bookplate - please see photos - a scarce title

Items to continental US will be send via USPS media mail, Fed Ex Ground, Or Parcel Post unless other arrangements are made.  Handling time is up to 4 business days prior to shipping. There are many expenses involved in shipping your product safely including padded mailers, bubble wrap, peanuts, tape, FRAGILE stickers, and in most cases insurance since insurance is now seller's responsibility. Understand that shipping costs may reflect a charge for these items. It is also sometimes difficult to estimate shipping costs before the item is actually packaged.
