This is an original medium-sized painting on canvas from the 1960s. It features an Armenian Soviet flag and portrays community life and with a modernist and portraiture style. The artist is from the USSR and the painting is a representation of the country's communist ideology.

This part of the picture is a rather interesting form of communist art. It depicts the flag of Armenia in Soviet times (interestingly, this is not the official flag; in Soviet times the flag looked completely different). The flag of Armenia had blue and yellow colors before joining the USSR and after its release in 1990.

Also, the inscription “Canada” on the back indicates the relationship of this canvas to one of the official diplomatic events.

The canvas depicts a woman in Armenian folk costume.

Unfortunately, the second part of the canvas has not survived.
