Bound in a near period half calf binding, with black Morocco title label in gilt to the spine, raised bands and gilt decoration. With marbled page edges, and endpapers, pagination; [5], 4-258, [1]pp. Illustrated throughout, and with two folding diagrams to the end.**


Condition: See photos as part of condition report: Bound in a near period half calf binding. Holding firmly, damp stained to both boards effecting the leather backstrips to the boards. internally the frontispiece hinged to the front board. a few pencil annotations to the title. the upper corner to the fore-edge with dark stain, which occasionally creeps onto the page edges.
