The included diagram and instructions are for wiring experts (not those that think they are), or guitar shops that are.

The reason we emphasize the above is we have many that think they know what they’re doing and then THEY mess something up (always unintentionally), and then want tech support from us or a return, a fix, a replacement, or a refund.
