This amazing Trophy Cup/Goblet from July 4th, 1893 for some type of Road Race in Santa Monica , CA.

Oddly, it has initials for who presented it, and then on the opposite side, says "Won by" and no name beneath. The mystery of it is very intriguing. Was it a car race or something else?

Beautiful motifs of Flowers and Leaves, and nice Victorian motifs throughout.

I have left it unpolished.  Made by Middletown and it is Quadruple Plate- also stamped Hard White Metal, 460 and P.C. gilt. Not sure what all that means.

Measures 6" Tall.

CONDITION: Overall in good condition. Hard to say how it will polish up. But the inscriptions are the best part of the piece, not the condition in my opinion.

OFFERS: I have left Offers open, please send serious Offers. They will be considered. Thank you.

Please e-mail with any questions at all.
