3-dm. field gun model 1902 was developed in Russia in 1901-1902. In 1906-1912. the cannon was equipped with a shield and was widely used in World War I, in the Russian Civil War (1918-1920), in World War II, as well as in many military conflicts. It was in service with the army of Russia (later the USSR), Poland, Finland, Latvia, Turkey, Germany. In total, more than 4,500 such guns were fired.
