These three books were printed and sold by Black’s Readers Service (New York) for many years. They were very inexpensive at the time, but have very nice bindings—faux leather, gilt decorated boards and spines, gilding of top page edges and decorated endpapers. This set was purchased in the late 1970s. The books are in as new, fine condition.
I have included pictures of the table of contents of all the books so that you can see what is included in each volume.
I have around 60 of these books. If you want to mix and match—send me an email with your desire and I will see if I can make it happen for you. I want to sell them in groups of three or more—onesies will require more $$ per book. Shipping costs and eBay’s cut make selling books any for less than $15 (free shipping) no longer worth while.

These hard-cover books are in fine, as new, condition. No dust jackets—as issued. The books feature nice bindings—realistic, but faux leather, gilt decorated boards and spines, gilding of top page edges and decorated endpapers. There are no names, inscriptions or marks of any kind within the books. The paper is good quality with no age toning. Binding and hinges are excellent as you might expect with books that have not been read. The text block of Works of Irving has been bound into the book upside down— a publisher’s error. No other flaws.
