【Item Description】

This is a Yamaha LP400 manufactured around 1984-1985, weighing 3.8kg.

The tuning pegs, rod cover, nut, escutcheon, and bridge & tailpiece (GOTOH) have been replaced.

Similar to the SG1000/SG2000, it features Alnico V pickups that provide a clear sound suitable for ensemble playing, while still delivering a classic Les Paul tone. The neck is straight, and the string height at the 12th fret is adjusted to 2mm for the 6th string and 1.5mm for the 1st string. The truss rod has not been adjusted since acquisition. The main issue is that the frets from the 5th to the 12th are worn to about 50-60%, while the rest are at 70-80%. However, this does not affect playability at present.

As it is an 80s guitar, there are some buckle marks and signs of use on the back, but there are no major scratches or issues affecting performance. There are minor touch-ups on some body scratches, but there is no severe damage.
