Constructed of premium Transtone material, a powerful SMC, Transolid Tile Ready shower bases create a durable and waterproof hollow that ensures simple installation and a long-term, leak-proof design. Benefits: this shower base is 21% sturdier than the competition; it is pre-leveled and pre-sloped and with 4-times the impact resistance and 2.5 times the temperature resistance of other models, it offers superior protection against everyday use. Peace of mind: creates a leak-proof, mold-free, waterproof basin for easy tile installation without the fear of damage. Threshold: featuring a low 3" threshold height that can recess further into the floor for an even smaller step into the shower. Tiling flange: an integrated 6" tiling flange allows room for virtually any tile thickness while ensuring no water build-up between the shower base and walls, offering ease of access and peace of mind. Supportive foundation: the underside of the base features sturdy, structural ribs that radiate from the drain opening, that when combined with a thin-set mortar, becomes a flex-free, water-tight foundation on which you can rely. Solid surface material: Transtone is a sheet molded compound (smc) material constructed of many solid layers of a glass-reinforced polymer resin. Drain: a shower drain is included and is compatible with a 2" solvent drain connection.
