There aren't many artists in the history of music who have changed the industry overnight and continued to influence music culture 30 years after the peak of their popularity. Kurt Cobain and the band members of Nirvana emerged as a generational genius in the early '90s. Combining rough and heavy tones, punk-inspired energy, and melodic catchiness, the sound quickly won millions of fans and pushed grunge and alternative rock into the mainstream music scene. Kurt has played many Fender guitars over the years, but the Jaguar and Mustang guitars used in the Nevermind tour and the Smells Like Teen Spirit music video have become widely known as the most iconic.
