First, an A. I. description...This Thorens music box from Switzerland is a unique piece that would make a great addition to any collection. The handmade marquetry design adds to its charm and makes it a decorative collectible as well. Although it is currently not operational, it is in pristine condition and would be ideal for parts or for someone looking to repair it.
Purchased by an Alabama couple on vacay to western Europe in the 1970's. Sat on a shelf in their library ever since. No idea who might have wound it too tight--probably one of our teenaged friends.
