From the Dust Jacket:

Jeff Johnson was a music director in a local church and he was a homosexual.  Forbidden Love is painfully frank; it is agonizingly personal; and it is depressingly true.  Jeff traces his background from childhood up to and including his arrest and confinement in prision.  He describes his feelings and reactions when he is left completely alone- his wife, his children, his pastor, all desert him when the awful truth becomes public knowledge.  His search for help and understanding reveals a great wasteland where compassion and involvement should have dwelt….
