This antique piece of iron work is a dresser topper tray or a hanging wall decor in the style of the Putto Rococo.  The tray depicts 3 children playing a violin, string bass, and a kettle drum.  It was most likely made in the late 1800s in the Reading, Penn area.  It measures approx 7.5 in x 6 in.   Please see photos for condition. 


A putto is a chubby, winged child figure that is often depicted in Rococo art. Putti are also known as cherubs or amorini.
