Estate sale find. These carpenter’s pencils came out of a large accumulations of pencils purchase from the estate of a gentleman who worked for Carlson Stromberg Corp for many years . This company was a famous company that manufactured telephones and radios. I believed he did a lot of traveling for this company picking up pencils as he traveled during the 1930s to 1950s period. There were a lot of train time tables accumulations all over his house. Basically a lot of traveling accumulations!

Anyway I only found these 9 carpenter’s pencils unused mixed in with regular pencil. These carpenter’s pencils are 7 inches long. All unused

Some of them are pretty old some may be late late 1920s or 1930s because of the Art Deco font used for letterings. Advertised phone numbers are 2 and 3 digits. Bottomline these pencil are old and fantastic! And not easy to find. All for one money!
