STRYMON Ola Chorus

STRYMON's Ola Chorus chorus effect pedal, based on the dBucket algorithm and featuring a variety of beautiful modulations, offers three chorus types that utilize all the computing power of the SHARC DSP. Ultra-low noise & high performance 24-bit 96kHz A/D & D/A converters are used. Mono LR unbalanced jacks and +4dB line input.

■dBucket technology
The BBD circuit's characteristic delay sound quality degradation, high frequency attenuation, clock IC effects, and timbre changes caused by changes in input signal dynamics have been reproduced. The quality that surpasses that of studio equipment has been completed.

Three chorus types
The Ola Chorus features three chorus types: "chorus," a traditional single delay line; "multi," a three-layer delay line used in the studio scene; and "vibrato," a vintage vibrato circuit restored in the digital domain. The chorus type is a digital domain restoration of the vintage vibrato circuit.

■ENV mode, which changes the effect sound depending on how hard you play.
chorus: The stronger you play, the thinner the effect sound (chorus effect), and the weaker you play, the louder the effect sound. This change smoothly follows the change in signal level as the input signal decays.
multi: The stronger you play, the louder the effect sound (chorus effect). In both modes, the maximum effect level is determined by the MIX knob position.
vibrato: The stronger you play, the faster the vibrato speed becomes, and the weaker you play, the slower the speed becomes. The fastest speed is determined by the SPEED knob setting.

Equipped with ■TONE and MIX controls
The TONE control adjusts the high frequency of the effect sound, and the MIX control adjusts the depth of the effect sound.

Analog Dry Mix
The input signal (guitar signal, etc.) is not AD converted, but is mixed with the delay signal in analog form.
The analog signal path uses a high-end HiFi level mixer circuit with an internally boosted analog dedicated power supply, so the original sound is not lost.

■Uses ultra-low noise & high performance 24-bit 96kHz A/D & D/A converters
High-speed & high-performance DSP circuitry is housed in a compact pedal.

True-bypass design with electronic relay switching

Stereo IN Stereo OUT
Mono unbalanced terminals are provided for input and output for the left and right channels, respectively. As well as being a stereo effects pedal for guitar, it also supports +4dB signals, so it can be connected to the inserts of a mixer console and used like a rack effects pedal.

■FAVORITE footswitch
Press and hold the switch to save the control knob settings in memory. When the footswitch is turned on and the LED lights up, the previously saved parameters are recalled.

■Lightweight, rugged anodized aluminum chassis
