Description:  It is an authentic antique steel engraved print on paper over 135 years old.  It is from the Bilder-Atlas: Ikonographische Encyklopadie der Wissenshaften und Kunste published in Leipzig by Brockhaus, 1874. A facsimile copy of the title page is included. It is being sold as a single sheet, not matted nor framed, as seen in the main pic. The German Bilder Atlas is considered one of the most extensive lexicons of the period containing natural, scientific, cultural, historical and artistic images in the finest German tradition of design. The prints would look great framed for the home or office. For the researcher, the copyrights have long expired, thus an excellent source of royalty free images for publishing. 

Size: The image area measures approximately 8 1/2 by 11 1/2 inches (22x30cm) on a 10 1/2 by 13" (27x34cm) page with a margin all around as seen in the pic.

Condition: It is in Very Good condition for its age with light tonal ageing, blank on the reverse, printed on strong paper, basically as seen in the pic. Overall, it is very clean and would frame up well, see the pics of more on condition. The pics are of the actual print.
