This cone weighs 1 lb, and the ball weighs 3.25 oz.

I did a burn test, and it looks like it's cotton. Then I just looked again at the inside of the cone. It just hit me that the one mark inside is a symbol for cotton! I looked online and it shows symbols like this for cotton. Mystery solved...

It has a $60 label on the inside. It is marked 1575 yds. I don't know if the ball was from this cone or not. Cone measures almost 7" tall and 4" across the bottom.
