Offered for your consideration is a NOS box of 12 spools of silk thread, manufactured by A. H. Rice Company Incorporated of Pittsfield, Massachusetts. The company was founded in the 1870s, and, I would guess, that the spools of thread are from around the 1950s. The original box is full, with 12 spools of a lovely sage green, silk thread present. Each of the NOS spools contain 140 yards of product. The spools are made of wood, and bear the sticker of the manufacturer on one end, and are printed with the color number, 6730, on the opposite end. The outer box does identify the same color number as the contents. Overall, the spools are in near excellent 'as found' condition, showing very minor handling. The box is discolored from age, and has some handwriting to one end. The box measures 9" x 5" x 1 1/2", with the spools fitting neatly inside. All of the components have a total weight of 1 pound, and will have a shipping weight of 1 pound 10 ounces. Auctions can be combined to save on shipping. Thank you for viewing my listing.
