The Scepter Military Water Canister (MWC) is in use by numerous armed forces worldwide,
including the US and Canadian armed forces.

Capacity: 20L Height: 47.7cm Length: 34.7cm Width: 17.2 cm Weight: 1,965 kg

Scepter's Military Water Canisters (MWC) complement Military Fuel Canisters (MFC)
from Scepter in quality, dimensions, performance and colors.
The large cap, band, spout and vent cap are injection molded
and made from low density polyethylene.
The screw cap is held in the tightened position by a tab on the cap
and the belt assembly locked.
Above the large cap is the small spout with its own cap and the small vent cap assembly.
All MWC components are made from FDA approved materials.
The material used to make the canister body is high density polyethylene (HDPE – 2)
and linear low density polyethylene (LLDPE) is used to manufacture the lid and its components.

The Scepter MWCs comply with US specification MIL-C-43613D and specify in Section 3.2 that the materials used meet the requirements
of 21 CFR – Food and Drugs and that the materials used must still be HDPE for body and body
LLDPE for the cap.
The Scepter MWCs also conform to Canadian Forces specification CF-C-693.
Section 3.2 also states that the materials used in the housing, cap and strap must be of food grade.

Scepter's MWCs (Military Water Cans) are free of BPA (Bisphenol A). BPA is an important organic building block component in some polycarbonate and other plastic materials, but it is not an ingredient in either HDPE or LLDPE, the materials used in our MWCs.
The lifespan of an MWC - as it is plastic - is 15 years or more, and during this period there is no risk of plastics entering the water.
Basically, the water can should be used for transport and short-term storage.
Each MWC has a unique integrated single handle that prevents it from being confused with the three-handle MFC in the dark.
Scepter's MWCs are supplied to militaries around the world as accessories for OEM vehicles and for OEM military auxiliary equipment and systems.
