50s Anthropomorphic DUCK+Flower Wheelbarrow Planter-Japan

DESCRIPTION:

Vintage figural planter.

Anthropomorphic duck pushing an oversized flower blossom wheelbarrow.  Glazed ceramic with hand painted decoration.  All original. 

Maker's marks:  "Made in Japan".   Manufacturer unknown.

Mid 20th century. 

CONDITION:

Light use-related staining to the interior.  There is glazed-in vertical firing line on the ducks belly (this is a production-related flaw, not damage).  See photos.  

Otherwise this planter is in excellent original condition.  No damage.  No significant wear.  No restorations or touch ups.

No other staining or discoloration.  No nicks, chips, cracks, bruises, losses, scuffs.  No significant scratches or rubs.

No interior scale.
