4" x 6" Micro Snare with Integrated Mount

This fun-sized effect snare from A&F is the perfect match for your mid-century-styled A&F kit. Breakbeats and gock shots to dixieland jazz and marching cadences, this little snare is guaranteed to find a place in your stage and studio work. Its micro-sized 4" x 6" (depth x diameter) steel shell is handcrafted from a single sheet of instrument-grade steel for great sonics and tuning diversity. Internal snare wires and an integrated L-rod mount allow this snare to go anywhere; mount it over your bass drum using a cowbell clamp (not included) for a palate-cleansing backbeat alternative or place it off to the side of your kit for double-tracked offbeat accents. Like all A&F Raw Steel snares, the 4x6 features traditional single-flanged brass hoops to supply a formidable attack. Meanwhile, A&F's Patented Patina hardware appointments — which includes center-mounted dual-sided lugs and aged tension screws — round out this one-of-a-kind effect snare.

Real, one-of-a-kind drums

Every A&F drum is handmade in Austin, Texas, by (skilled) artisans in collaboration with professional drummers. They've embraced archaic construction techniques from decades past to make drums that have a unique sound. Since every drum component is handmade, aged, and assembled in-house, there may be small variances between two drums of the same size and finish. While some would classify varying patinas, imperfect circles, or visible weld seams as flaws, A&F Drums disagrees. In fact, the artisans at A&F consider these cosmetic "flaws" to be the hallmark of a one-of-a-kind 100% handmade drum. A&F is so confident in their drums that they offer a lifetime warranty on every single drum that leaves their workshop.
