You are bidding on a complete issue of the journal “THEM DAYS: Stories of Early Labrador.” This one is for Volume 38, Number 3, (2014).

For over fifty years, Them Days has been the most comprehensive and reliable source for fascinating stories of Labrador in days gone by. Published four times a year, the journal routinely covers early exploration of Labrador and its coasts, fishing, sailing & ships, local communities & villages & settlements, missionaries, shipwrecks, Native Indian experiences (including the Innu/Eskimo inhabitants), schools & churches, businesses, hunting & trapping, folklore, poetry, and much more. Tons of photos too, both of contemporary Labrador, as well as rare images taken from the archives. In addition to the early history, the magazine also published many reminiscences and memoirs of those who were early pioneers, and whose interviews published here offer an invaluable resource to life in Labrador.

This particular issue contains a lot of different material. I have scanned the complete Table of Contents, so you can see exactly what is contained in this issue. This book is an excellent resource for anyone interested in Newfoundland & Labrador, Native history, Canadian history, and so on.

The book is a softcover, measuring about 5 x 8 inches. It was published in Happy Valley-Goose Bay, in 2014. This issue is 64 pages long, with many photographs & illustrations. Book is used, but in excellent condition – read once and then filed, so there is no writing, no stains or soiling, clean cover & tight spine. Top bidder should add $3.99 for postage within Canada, or $5.99 for mailing to the USA. I have other, similar books up for sale now, so please check them out too! Multiple books always combined to save on postage, & full refund if you’re not happy. Thanks for looking!
