Police cars based on Mitsubishi Galant's high-end sports-grade VR-4 were deployed by police forces nationwide in the 1990s and 2000s, albeit in small numbers. This car, which had a higher specification combining 280 horsepower and 4WD, was mainly operated by high-speed corps. The Metropolitan Police Department's vehicle was a speed 10 with a call sign.
