This is an old Victorian 10K enamel mourning pin with framed braided hair.

I have tested the pin throughout as there are different colors in the metals.

The pin is tested 10K, the pin portion is not gold, I do not know what kind of metal.

The pin has ornated borders with black enamel in between.

The center has a glass cover with brown color braided hair inside.

It measures 1.25 inches long and 1-1/16 inches high. The thickness is 5/16 inch.

The entire pin weighs 8.4 grams.

Condition is previously owned and it appears to be in excellent condition considering its age. 

I have acquired it from an estate sale in Laguna Woods, CA and I have no other information or history about it.
