Collecting the 5-issue CRIME BIBLE! A Monk of the Dark Faith is moving through the DCU, seeding evil in his wake as he prepares for a final, potentially devastating act. Trailing him is The Question, who seeks to save the life of the author of a best-selling expose about the Dark Faith.
Former Gotham City detective Renee Montoya was descending
into alcoholism and violence until the crimefighter called "The
Question" showed her a different path. When he died of cancer, Montoya
took up the role...Only to find herself investigating a worldwide crime
organisation called Intergang, who worship the "Crime Bible" - a book
of evil deeds which may predict the future. On the trail of Intergang assassin
Flay, Montoya will discover five lessons - Deceit, Lust, Greed, Murder and the Parable
of the Faceless - which will leave her changed forever! Greg Rucka returns to
one of his most memorable characters, ably assisted by a host of artists, in a
dark tale that will chill and thrill!
All comics are from my own collection which I am disposing of.
All photographs are of the comic you are bidding on. I do not use stock shots.
I try to create short sets - usually with 6 or less
related issues – to provide the reader with a complete or near complete story
arc or theme. This provides a better
reading experience and can also encourage a jump in point for new companies,
characters or titles.
I aim for honest grading and will always describe
any shortcomings including the presence of price stickers.
All are packed securely.
I identify “my favourites” as such. This doesn’t necessarily mean that they are
better than my other listings - although I guess I would argue that they are!!
You judge.
I will always combine postage costs for multiple purchases. Just ask me.
Hope you enjoy reading them as much as I have
collecting them.
