This studio pottery vase came from the Derbyshire Museums School Service collection, which was built up in the 1940s to the 1970s, the studio pottery dating mainly from the 1970s.  So I know it is from that period, but beyond that do not know any more about the maker, although it may well be local to the Derby area.  It is a nicely made vase, hand thrown with two colours of speckled glaze painted front and back with a stylised leaf design. The number on the bottom is the painted museum catalogue number.
