West Germany vintage desk top barometer and temperature gauges mounted in a nice chunky wooden swivel frame.

The two gauges are round and set in brass bezels each held by 3 screws and have their original domed shape real glass dial covers in perfect unscratched clean condition.

The barometer is marked foreign and makers name BARIGO - the weather indications are in red and black print on a silver coloured metal dial face - there is a black metal needle pointer and a brass setting needle operated manual by brass knurled knob in centre of the glass.

On the rear is a fine adjustment screw for the barometer (sea level adjustment)

The temperature/ thermometer gauge is marked with the words ‘ Therm F Made in Western Germany’ plus the Fahrenheit scale is printed in black on a brass coloured dial face

The brass bezels are about 9cm in diameter the visible glass is 8cm diameter

Both units tested and work (sealed plastic bag method for the barometer and the temperature needle moves up and down with the heat in the room.

The wooden base is 30cm in length and 4.5 in depth and 1 cm high

The main wooden block the gauges are mounted in is 22cm long and 13cm high and 2.5cm thick

The block swivels on its 2 hinges to put the unit at any angle required for easy viewing.

Full height of unit when angled vertically is 16cm
