This is a vintage 1938 paper doll book, 40 Boys & Girls at School. I think it is Whitman. I saw it listed as both 1938 and 1940 so I'm not sure. The book has been cut and some dolls removed. One lost a leg. Most seem ok. Pages in it uncut and a pile of cut clothes. With this is a copy of the reprint, uncut, to help you make sense of what you get with the original book.  Happy to answer any questions.
