Welcome to my listing for my truly gorgeous condition 1974 vintage Pioneer TX-7100 AM/FM Tuner. This beautiful high end tuner, built around 1974 in Japan, is in remarkable condition for its age. Every dial, function and bulb works perfectly and it sounds AMAZING, with a deep, warm and inviting sound quality. Please inspect the photographs to see just how great condition this lovely rare tuner is in. I have deep cleaned everything and carefully hand polished every metal surface.

Technically speaking, this tuner is a marvel. It features a frequency linear, 4 gang variable capacitor and dual gate MOS FETs in the FM front end. In addition, it employs phase linear ceramic filters with excellent phase characteristics and a 5 stage limiter for high performance in the FM IF section. An exclusive illuminated signal strength meter coupled with the center tuning meter and wide linear dial scale offers precise and easy tuning capability. It is a JOY to use!

The power cable was a little short when this came to me so I have extended it with a high quality block connector which I have also pictured.
