This antique metal sign from the Soviet era features the image of a state labor savings bank and is a unique piece of historical memorabilia. The sign is from the 1920s and was manufactured in the early Soviet Union.

This sign is part of the first and earliest banking system of the early USSR. Here is a sign of the 1925 - 1929 model (on the coat of arms you can see 3 ribbons on each side - there were six republics from 1925 to 1929, later there were 7, a little later 16)

The sign says in Russian: "State Labor Savings Bank - the wallet and cashier of the working people".

Nowadays, things from the early Soviet era are valued all over the world, almost 100 years have passed, and this is incredible!)

The sign is presumably made of brass.

Length: 2.9 inches (7.5 cm)

Width: 1.9 inches (5 cm)

Weight: 25 grams

It is a great addition to any collection relating to banking and insurance themes or historical collectibles. The sign is not signed and is in excellent shape for its age.

Interesting part of the past. Every day there are fewer of them, suitable as a collection, for a gift or as a good deal in the future.
