PROCEEDS TO GO TOWARD VICTIMS IN GAZA

This is a Simplicity SL1400 collector's sewing machine, possibly from the 70's. It features fun colors of pink, yellow, red and white. It truly feels vintage, making it an interesting addition to your sewing space. It can be used for displaying in a room as decor, or for actually sewing. It may be good for various crafting or sewing needs. With electric operation, this machine can handle various materials including leather, denim, and wool. It is a regular size machine. It was made in Taiwan.

The foot pedal is nearly new. The machine is heavy. It has a handle on top. Make sure the handle is down while you're sewing so it's not in the way of your thread. This machine makes nice, strong good quality stitches. But it does have some flaws. The part (on the machine) where you connect the power cord to the machine, seems to have a shortage. Just focus instead on sewing and using the foot pedal. Currently, it is sewing and stopping frequently. The thing you turn to lift & let down the needle isn't working, but I've been able to sew without that being a major issue.

The machine is designed to be user-friendly. The dial is a simple and Fun touch. The model is specifically from the Simplicity brand, which no longer makes these machines. It may be good for those who want a high-quality, fun to use, vintage old fashioned sewing machine.

I make Caftan dresses for women as well as Caftan/ dashiki tops for men and women.
