The drawing, executed in watercolors on 19th century paper, depicts a wide landscape, showing an English town (not yet identified) situated at the borders of a river.
Authorship : the drawing is from the British School, monogrammed right below "H.W.M.".
Period : ca. 1860-1870.
Size : 25,7x35,7cm.
Condition : Fairly good. Some scattered dirt throughout. Slyghtly foxed. Sides and corners : traces of folding. Top side : two tiny tears. Unframed.
