This is a stunning 1/2 Escudo gold coin necklace featuring the portrait of Carolus III. The necklace is perfect for those who love historical PIRATE ERA coins and want to add a unique piece to their jewelry. The coin is from 1788 and the gold loop has been added in its early previous history before I acquired it. It is authenticated by Teutoburger Münzauktion GmbH Auctions and comes with the original plastic sleeve it came in. See photos.

The coin is on a beaded necklace made out of real genuine peridot beads and is 26" in length with a sterling silver clasp. The clasp is a unique and interesting shape much like the chains found in the past. Very cool necklace for someone who wants to be elegant with a hint of piracy. Can easily be put on over the head without having to undo the clasp.
