Yamaha all silver flute YFL63 E with mechanism, covered key

Description

Top series of all-silver handmade flutes from the era when Yamaha annexed Nissan.
The tone is mature compared to modern models, but it has a clear, gentle tone and a distant ring.
The impression I got from playing it is that the sound is dense and breathes well. I have kept it because it has a tone that I can't miss compared to the current H footed flutes, but I would like to let it go because I would like to purchase a special H footed flute (alto flute).
It was made around 1970, and is very carefully made.
The tampo, packing, cork, etc. have been replaced in 2020....and the inside and outside of the Kan was cleaned and polished at the time of replacement.
The keys were adjusted, lubricated, and the head cork was replaced at a music store in Tokyo in March 2024. It now sounds clear in all registers.
Until now, it has been sent for adjustment roughly every 6 months to a year, so it is in good condition.
The condition of the flute has no scratches or dents that would interfere with playing. There are some minor scratches and wipes.
The fit is just right for the foot tube, but the head tube is a little tight. The head tube can be adjusted by polishing the head tube with a compound.
I am selling this vintage flute to someone who will take good care of it.
It is a very old flute, so it needs to be maintained regularly just like a classic car.
The tone and sound are excellent.
The case was replaced with a genuine Yamaha hard case during the process.
Repairs and other maintenance should be done by you.
