LISTED FOR AUCTION TODAY IS A WONDERFUL ANTIQUE NECKLACE. IT IS UN-MARKED GOLD FILLED, WEIGHS APPROXIMATELY 5.1 GRAMS AND THE FINE CHAIN MEASURES ABOUT 16" LONG WITH A SPRING CLASP. THE PETITE LOCKET PENDANT MEASURES ABOUT 3/4" FROM THE TOP OF THE ATTACHED RING AND IS NICELY ENGRAVED WITH "EF". IT OPENS TO REVEAL TWO PICTURE COMPARTMENTS, ONE STILL RETAINS A FADED SEPIA TONED PICTURE OF A YOUNG LADY, CELLOPHANE COVER AND GOLD FILLED RING. SHE IS SMILING AND WEARING A FLAPPER STYLE HAT! CLEARLY PRINTED ON THE BACK IS "Emma Frey, 1924"! IT HAS CERTAINLY BEEN WORN AND THERE IS WEAR TO THE FINISH, BUT THE PHOTO IS QUITE LOVELY AND CLEARLY DATED!
