Welcome to my listing for my Sony CDP-770 CD player. If you know, you know that this is a renowned and fantastic sounding unit, very dynamic and expansive sounding, with a deep soundstage yet never harsh. The vivid presentation of the sound that this Sony CD player produces is immediately apparent from the moment you press play. In terms of sound quality, this unit is indisputably up there in the league of the Sony ES players.

On board are dual Burr Brown PCM56P DACs, which are very renowned audio chips so this player punches well above its weight in refinement. The transport on deck is Sony's very stable KSS-150A, which is also commonly found in a number of high CD players.

The headphone output is of excellent quality as well, and drives my Quad planar headphones with authority and ease. The motorised volume control with its own red LED is a nice touch too and serves as both a volume control for the headphone socket as well as the variable line output which is an option on the rear ports.

This CD player is solid as a rock and all functions work perfectly. It reads and navigates discs quickly and very quietly and the drawer is as smooth and strong in its operation. This is truly stunning sounding CD player.

As you can see from the pictures, the CD player is in very good condition overall. There are a few light scratches here and there bit nothing major. You won't be disappointed with the build quality or sound quality of this unit.

Unfortunately this does not come with a remote control but replacements are easy to find online and many Sony CD remotes are interchangeable.
