Exceedingly rare Bucherer/SABA(*) #1077 metal and composition Swiss doll
depicting the Hat version of “Aggie” the dark-haired mischievous girl
from "Reg'Lar Fellers" the long-run newspaper comic strip
created by the Gene Byrnes and syndicated from 1917 to 1949.
Patented ball jointed body, made of aluminum, steel
and brass, completely poseable thanks to its finely turned metal balls and
sockets with flesh molded removable composition head, hands and shoed feet.
Flesh molded and hand painted composition head with
round eyes, wide open mouth smile, arched brows and molded hat.
She is dressed in her complete felt clothing
consisting of a red and black polka dot two-piece dress with white ribbon
collar, white cotton pantaloons with trimming, red and black striped knee high
leggings with black and red over sized shoes and red hat with blue ribbon.

She comes in her original, almost impossible-to-obtain fully printed box, adorned with beautiful graphics all around.
Condition:
This example is entirely original and complete, with no visible moth holes, in
near mint to mint overall condition, and with an excellent box that is just
paper-taped from the inside.(*)
The Bucherer patented metal ball-jointed dolls, also known as SABA, were
produced in
