Experience the awe-inspiring presence of the Statue of Liberty, officially known as Liberty Enlightening the World, with this magnificent bronze sculpture. A symbol of freedom and friendship between the United States and France, it was dedicated on October 28, 1886, to commemorate the centennial of the signing of the United States Declaration of Independence.

Crafted by the renowned sculptor Frédéric Auguste Bartholdi, the statue depicts a majestic woman adorned in a stola, wearing a radiant crown and sandals. She stands triumphantly, trampling a broken chain, while holding a torch high in her right hand and a tabula ansata inscribed with the date of the Declaration of Independence, JULY IV MDCCLXXVI, in her left arm. Positioned on Liberty Island in New York Harbor, the statue warmly welcomes visitors, immigrants, and returning Americans arriving by ship.

The internal structure of the statue was ingeniously engineered by Maurice Koechlin, chief engineer of Gustave Eiffel's renowned engineering company, who also designed the iconic Eiffel Tower. The pedestal, an architectural marvel, was designed by Richard Morris Hunt. Eugène Viollet-le-Duc played a pivotal role in selecting copper for the statue's construction and implementing the repoussé technique, which involves hammering malleable metal from the reverse side.

Globally recognized as an emblem of the United States, the Statue of Liberty has long served as a symbol of hope for millions of immigrants and visitors who embarked on ocean voyages to reach American shores. This exquisite bronze sculpture beautifully captures the essence of Lady Liberty, adorned with a breathtaking patina of pick, silver, and brown. Its elegant design makes it a perfect addition to mantles, bookshelves, or curio shelves.

The sculpture portrays her flowing robe gracefully, while the torch she raises high serves as a poignant reminder of the freedom cherished in the United States of America. Displaying this sculpture is a wonderful way to express your pride and appreciation for America. Created using the esteemed "Lost Wax Method" and adorned with a beautiful hand-painted patina, this sculpture bears the signature of the talented artist, Fisher.

Own a piece of American history and proudly showcase your love for the United States with this extraordinary Statue of Liberty bronze sculpture.
