Summer is getting close and it is time to get out your cotton dresses to enjoy the warm weather! This 50s house dress has a little more style than most house dresses with its black piping and deep pockets with cuffs. The previous owner dressed it up with beautiful glass buttons. It has nine 1/2-in glass buttons down the front. The horizontal buttonholes are in great shape. The dress is a subtle print in muted shades of gray in a feathery print on an off white background. When I first got it I thought it was homemade but it has remnants of a label that you can see  was cut out of the neck.

I acquired this dress in a collection of women's wear that was put together by a woman who lived in Boulder, Colorado in the '80s. She had a florist business and her signature look was vintage clothing. This woman relocated to Indiana about 30 years ago and her clothing collection actually spent years in a barn. During the storage time a lot of clothes were damaged beyond use so I only bought what was still wearable. This dress is wearable and I have laundered it once in cold water but it still has some discoloration. Fortunately because of the print you can hardly see it 😉

As far as the size goes, it would be small to medium.

Due to the presence of spots I have priced it on the low side.
